Its a double blind placebo controlled trial with three arms

arm 1 higher dose Bucillamine
arm 2 low dose Bucillamine
arm 3 placebo

Double blind means Drs and study personnel as well as patient dont know who's getting what.

So patients are given Bucillamine early in the disease and the primary outcome is how many patient progress to hospitalization or death. So fewer patients in the buillamine arms compared to the placebo end in hospital of dead is what we hope to see, if thats true than BINGO!
