Intel's GMs last year were still above average by historical standards despite the dsiruptive effect of a sudden and dramatic transition between a mediocre product line and a superb product line. Given the poor competitive landscape I expect Intel GMs to make gains this year to historically high levels

Well. Not sure if Intels PR already said so. If not, they probably should. :)

As for up or down, I suggest to use Andy's numbers for the Q and the outook due in a fourtnight as a checkpoint.
