Not an expert in this area but the things which come to mind are: exit strategy for their investors, raise capital, public visibility, increases credibility / transparency with public filings and maybe even a barrier of sorts against any Chinese threats. I am sure I am missing something but at some point we'll probably learn their primary reason for a public company. Would be nice if this turned out to be a special acquisition company, SPIC or SPAC I can't recall the correct acronym. GL
