There are 3 phase to bitcoin, we are on phase 1 so yes right now transactions are slow but by phase 3 it will be just like using a debit card. It's funny you mention fiat currency cuz last I checked it has no intrinsic value either. 22% of currency in circulation will be printed in 2020. Bitcoin on the other hand has a finite number of coins/sats the value can only go up. Bitcoin cannot be siezed or taken from you by the government, they can only ask for it!!!. Investing in blockchain has good moderate potential. Investing in Bit...... Skys the limit!
