Many places requiring special badges to show your not Covid infected. Boston University is putting changes in place after a spike in COVID-19 cases on campus.
The university reported 34 infections in the last week. That's compared to eight cases the week before.
Starting Thursday, students will be required to have a "green badge" indicating a negative coronavirus test to enter dining halls, the student union and several other public spaces on campus.
They'll also be asked to show their badges more often by faculty and staff.
BU said the increase in cases has been linked to social gatherings and personal travel -- something they continue to ask students and staff to AVOID.
