IMO, it's possible, but I highly doubt it. Kraig Labs already got the Bio certs for their previous genetic line. It is one thing for the company to optimize their genetic lines by selectively breeding over the summer. But it's another issue entirely to to add a new plasmid with a new sew sequence.

But it is still possible. It all depends on the breadth of the bio cert and what the government allows.

Regardless, the company will not have to wait to scale up this optimized version of Dragon Silk.
