Off another board, kudos to this poster, makes a lot of sense.
I have the feeling that something is close to be realized regarding OWS, for the following reasons:
1) refusal to give any comment regarding OWS (= strong indication that something is in talks that NP does not want to risk).
2) similarly, very clear and sharp response by NP yesterday that CYDY has zero need to partner with big Pharma. Would a CEO react like this if he needed a strong financial partner? Certainly not, thus, CYDY does not need, - possibly because another funding source will come.
3) let’s be blunt: OWS so far failed very badly regarding therapeutics (and vaccines with some doubts...)! That is the truth. OWS = partnership between HHS, CDC, BARDA, DoD, and NIH.. a Programme with huge money..... failed so far. Can they effort that a small biotech will be soon the first to show a statistical significant reduction of mortality in a randomized placebo-controlled (=golden standard) trial - successful without public (OWS) funding ? That would be nothing else than clear evidence about how ineffective they wasted and spent billions of USD.... they only way to avoid this situation is: bet some money on that horse that is clearly not only leading, but for which they now have also the positive view of the DMSC that the „horse“ leronlimab will make it ! Put some money on that winner. Even if only now (should have been months ago !!) for the public it is the same, because nobody knows CYDY right now. But if in two months we have the data - OWS can tell the public that they funded this company......
Now with that positive DMSC recommendations which suggest that we can make it with already 75 % of the planned patients - OWS has more to lose if they do not fund CYDY thankful they fund CYDY.
Actually OWS must be happy if CYDY would take that money to be able later to state that OWS was a „big success“.
