The issue is not cyanide gas, or worker exposure. The issue is violations of environmental rules, regulations, and permits. You cannot just take material with cyanide and spread it all over a minesite. Even in Mexico.

And no, one cannot just assume that all the cyanide is dissipated.

This current activity by Mexus appears to involve some serious violations. Unloading cyanide contaminated leach material, stacking it somewhere, then running cyanide-contaminated salty gold through a ball mill, and generating new tailings.....to be dumped where?

PT could be in serious trouble with these irresponsible actions.

Do your own research, use third-party sources, and don't buy into the hype.
