Hi arizona1, this is called revisionist history. A common trick used by the left to fool people. But we both know it's not true.

No one knew China would allow this thing to spread out of control. Europe sure didnt.

And the conventional CDC playbook to surround the outbreak and deal with it doesnt work when the virus shows up in dozens of places at the same time and spreads when people are asymptomatic.

Once the govt figured out the CDC f'ed up - just 2 - 3 weeks into it, they formed the pandemic task force - and pretty much saved NYC as well as many other places.

As for the anti-mask crusade ..... well that's definitely on him.

Does CNN or MSNBC mention for the past 2 weeks, western Europe - on a population adjusted basis, has far more cases and deaths than the US ? Of course they don't. And the US has more "higher risk" people than Europe does. So when you factor that in - Europe - who left wingers keep saying we should be more like - is doing far worse than we are. (of course that might change in the next week or two if they decide to clamp down again).
