I agree it is not for everyone. Neither is smoking. Giving people options is the best way to get a spectrum of customers. And a stoner at a social gathering would probably be happy to be offered a cannabis based drink rather than alcohol no matter what the potency is. Constellation brands now has complete control over this company and acreage so Im not surprised that Kirk left. Nobody with his level of understanding will be second fiddle to some alcohol guys. I am just trying to point out it is not either this or that, all of these products and companies have a shot at success. Hard core old school with the grinders and the bong videos are one kind of customer. A customer that is already getting their supply elsewhere or growing their own. There is the potential to get a whole bunch of new customers and the best way to get them and keep them is to offer a pleasant taste and experience. Someone who has never used weed before gets presented with a cookie that has 100 or 200 mg will have as crappy an experience as if you offer someone a 20oz bottle of rum and have them chug it! Having the option to start with a small amount and pace yourself is a good choice and will do a lot toward onboarding new customers. Someone with a high tolerance can just drink more to get their buzz. The consistent whine is “its too expensive” geeze how much is a cocktail in a restaurant? Noting is free and the pricing will stabilize as the industry does. This is in a growth phase at many levels and it will be worth the wait. McDonalds hamburgers are not 5star quality but they sure sell a bunch of them. If Canopy is McWeed so be it. They still fulfil a purpose. The purists require nothing but top shelf, average folks just want a little happy in their day.

Anything I post is my opinion only and subject to change on a whimsy
