What is a RS to start with. If you have 10 balls that are worth $10, they get converted to one ball that is worth $10. Before the RS your wealth is $10 and after the RS, your wealth remains at $10. It’s a mathematical manipulation to get investors buy more expensive balls. There are lots of investors out there that don’t like to buy cheap balls at $1, they like to buy more expensive balls at $10 and up. The only way to get to them is to do a RS. It is simple.
