Just to clarify, if you don’t at least have a patent pending, you will end up losing everything to someone who already has one. It’s far preferable to have a patent. For example, any backwoods scientist can build a rocket, but no one is going to take it into space until it has gone through an extensive testing process with patents and approvals. Smarter money knows this.
