06:16 AM EDT, 10/09/2020 (MT Newswires) -- Moderna (MRNA) will seek approval of its COVID-19 vaccine candidate in Europe based on real-time data from its clinical study, Reuters reported late Thursday.

Such reviews are a relatively faster path to approval, as they allow companies to submit real-time data instead of waiting for the study to be completed first.

Moderna (MRNA) will submit to European regulators the same data it plans to present to the US Food and Drug Administration, the report said.
