Dane, you are streaming pure BS this AM. There is not one person on this board who has any idea of the long-term impact of Covid-19. Our time series of analysis is less than one year.

Outside of oldprof's points about carrying, you don't know if every young person who has carried it and not shown any symptoms has shaved 10 years off their own life expectancy. There's no way to know.

Labeling the deaths of younger people marginal is irresponsible at best. We need critical thinkers not citizens that regurg what they learn from their FB algos. Same sort of crap posted here after the DJT meme regarding secondary illnesses being the driver of covid deaths. DJT washing his hands of responsibility.

And it's not up the media ... it's up to each of us. Media, including Fox and NYT is focused on revenue.

Several here have lamented the slow progression of Brilacidin given the challenges IPIX had in raising money to complete trials due to a suppressed stock price. If Bril was approved for another indication in 2018 b/c IPIX had the funding, we would already know if Bril helped address Covid and it could have saved thousands of lives.

If the trials work and Bril is approved, it will address far more than Covid and potentially makes our civilization more robust in dealing with future outlier diseases ... the unknown unknowns.
