Simply an irresponsible statement. I literally intubated a young woman in the ED with Covid induced respiratory failure a week or so ago. Not only do young people die from Covid, the morbidity is potentially huge and they act as reservoirs to infect older folks. If you are going to weigh in to a conversation about clinical outcome as a lay person, at least do your homework. Death is NOT the only endpoint of interest
