I believe the “preventive” statements are in regards to hyper-inflammation and thus treatment of cytokine storm. Even if Lenz may not be tied to Covid “prevention”, it’s still huge in regards to all the disease states that lead to hyper-inflammation... and there are unfortunately limitless. It’s too early to say this, but I’ll put it out there anyways, the off-label use alone will make a dramatic shift when it comes to ICU practice using it. This will be such a beautiful tool in the oncology world, allowing us to be daring with other medications that may lead to hyper-inflammation and then we have Lenz to cover at the back end!
