The "ship" is a leaky rowboat with no oars.

You would be better off finding someone to track down the cash the crooks got from selling you the unregistered securities.

Since this was an obvious violation of Rule 144, the transfer agent and the brokers who facilitated the dumping of illegal shares ought to be in your sights.
