Just like any vaccine candidates, Some will get there fastest and be proven to be unsuitable, some will be proven to help curtail the virus, and some who put it all together, will be downright life changing. Who in the he$$ would not be waiting patiently, with the understanding that there is a reason why Our President emaphatically talked about the left jab and right cross, but never talked about the knockout blow uppercut of remdesivir or miracle drugs that are coming. He spoke of them but not about them. I believe they are coming, he is still getting one, and we did testing with results of that very drug and will be doing stand alone testing.
