Exactly!
Years of experience can mean nothing!

I work in skilled trades. I'm self employed and work by myself. When I need additional manpower I will go to a Service that provides skilled workers. You can get individuals by the day, week, etc.

I couldnt even begin to tell you the number of times that the service has sent an "experienced in the field" individual to me and they knew literally nothing about the job to be done.

So and so has 30 + years experience!!

It's not how long you do it, it's how much you learn.
