I'm a traditional physician who has also used supplements his entire life. While the pharma industry has treatments for most illnesses, there is virtually nothing for acute viral illnesses (only Tamiflu). This product contains 3 powerful ingredients from Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), in reasonably high doses (750 mg each). These ingredients have been around for >50 years, are taken by Chinese health care workers, and are used in an intravenous formulation. There are several cellular processes that are part of viral infection (invasion of the cell, using the cells DNA to reproduce copies of the virus, and then release of the newly made viruses from the cell (spread). The components of CV Acute work at multiple levels, as shown by cellular and animal studies. IMO, everyone should have this on hand (we average 3-5 viral infections per year), and start taking at the onset of symptoms.
When I take this product, I feel immuno-confident. The flavor is herbal, the consistency thick but not too thick, and the results I experienced with one recent virus were impressive. Quick improvement in severity of symptoms.
I have taken CV Sciences CBD products for years, and now I am glad they are expanding into immune health and wellness with CV Acute and CV Defense. Their immune products are very interesting scientifically, and I look forward to using CV Defense on a daily basis (Note: CV Acute is typically for symptomatic treatment).
