More delay is better, then? Complete nonsense when taken to an extreme of course, with infinite delay. Obv needs to be some better time to be done with enough info to get out results. So when is it time to prepublish? Or, when was it? I would argue starting the trial is a lot more important than getting more in vitro data.

Is it fine to see an article in November ? Does that leave time to meet with the FDA and start a trial? If they know the dose, and supposedly they do, why isn't a week or a month ago a much better time to publish what they had and moved forward with the trial.

Since the trial is all that counts anymore

Sure it's nice to believe that more tests =more confidence in B v C, and it must mean that, it makes plain common sense. But they also need to keep in mind DHHS OWS and CTAP goals. Do those count at all? Getting trials started now, this fall, so that manufacture can ramp up if there is success? I think getting a trial started is a lot more important than adding more bits of data to the B v C story
