Just a few little words......but, OH what strength in a time of trouble, worry, doubt, concern, fear, just whatever may trouble one's heart, even when at death's door

"Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me"

We can research this verse, we can get opinions from great minds of religon, we can hear really good sermons, on Psalm 23, and we hear good comforting words at the departure of a dear friend or family member...........BUT---to me they carry a dear and special place in my heart, I may stray, I may fall short, I may stumble and fall and get all dusty, but I know God's grace will see me through.....I have made mention of this before, and probably will do so many times in the future.....when I laid in my hospital bed right on the edge of stepping off into eternity, I saw going around in a circle, like the ticker on a TV screen, the Lords Prayer----then every now and then, right through the middle, from left to right, those words cut through. My friend, no matter what is tossed in your path, try to remember those words. To the higer educated minds Psalm 23 carries their thoughts, but for me, trodding through life, with all its challenges, worries, pain, despair, well! That is the Valley of the shadow of death, But from someone who was right at death's door, "FEAR NOT". for God is with you....We just have to learn to remove stuff from our hands and put all that stuff in God's hands.

I often have said that we take our problems right to the foot of the cross, then when we get up to leave we pack up all those problems and take them with us.....We need to learn to just trust in God more than in ourselves-----God Bless
