Covid is its own thing, but you’ll still need reps.
But as far as day to day operations companies have to have reps in the field calling on clinicians regularly to keep them educated and even aware of some products. It’s really important in a compatible landscape as well.
You’d be amazed at how many providers I see that I have to review mechanism of action, safety, efficacy, copay programs, etc etc with them. There’s so many drugs on the market they can’t possibly keep up with all of them.
