Look at it this way as hard as it is to get thru to etrade right now, or even if it was fast would u buy ampe for the first time if you had to do it over the phone? I sure wouldnt I want instant I and out. Both my parents passed this year and they both had edward jones. To execute a trade you have to call the broker who's usually already on the phone, so you wait for him to call you back. The trade will cost a min of 2% up to 4%. It would cost $4k-$8k to buy and sell 100k shares of a $1 listed stock. OTC they wont trade while at etrade OTC $4.95 listed free. If you have restrictions put on stocks time to bail and move on.
