Hi Gary. I am an MD. I’m a Psychiatrist but I did go to medical school and do know a lot about infections and treatments.early on when some gets sick, the body’s immune system responds and is helpful in fighting off the virus. Using stem cells or steroids like Prednisone or Dexamethasone will suppress the immune response and may lead to more symptoms. This is why early on, antivirals and antibody treatments could help. I think Sorrento has a much better treatment option than Regeneron’s

Anyway, later on there can be an overreaction of the immune system known as a cytokines storm. This leads to swelling/ edema in the alveoli in the lungs. Oxygen is blocked from getting blood vessels. Less oxygen gets to the brain, the heart and extremities causing major problems. When this occurs Dexamethasone works but stem cells work much, much better. calm the cytokines storm and lungs function normally and ventilators are no longer necessary. Timing which treatment to choose in each phase of the illness is key.

Preventing Covid is the best option. Wearing a mask and social distancing are the top 2 recommendations and Trump not only didn’t follow these rules, he mocked others who did. No one with any medical knowledge should be surprised just like I am not surprised that this summer is the hottest in history with the most fires .
