They don't "need" the QUTR ticker but it is a cheap shortcut. They got the 10M preferred shares with a 250:1 Common exchange rate as part of the transfer. And, remember, Lazar has/had? 770M shares of the 2.55B AS. That would give them a lot to sell. Maybe more than they would get with an expensive IPO at a lot less headache.
