"How many who test positive die? How many who die actually die from COVID? How many in LTCFs who died would have died anyway without COVID or would have died if they caught the cold or flu?"

You ask:
1. How many who test positive die? 2 to 3 people/100 in the US(closer to 3).

2. How many in LTCFs who died would have died anyway without COVID or would have died if they caught the cold or flu?

My opinion, alot less. Covid causes inflammation. I'm diabetic(insulin dependent) with very good control(good blood sugar levels) which calls upon the immune system to come to the rescue. The immune system can over react causing cytokine storm, not just with diabetes but with many medical conditions(be it surgery, trama due to accidents, gun shot wounds-whatever) which is not good for major organs of the body and lead to sepsis and death.

Blood sugar rises as people age, or become increasingly unhealthy(overweight-thank God that's not a problem America).

"CONCLUSIONS—A1C levels are positively associated with age in nondiabetic populations even after exclusion of subjects with IFG and/or IGT. Further studies are needed to determine whether age-specific diagnostic and treatment criteria would be appropriate."

A1c, for those aren't familiar with the term. is the average blood glucose(sugar)level over a 3 month period. It's proven to increase with age in non-diabetics. I believe America's diet explains a part of the high percentage we are experiencing compared to the rest world(I'm aware that not all countries are likely honest with their figures presented).
