If Rep. Andy Harris (R-MD) is on the RLFTF DSMB to help co-ordinate a push for a dramatic therapeutic for COVID it would be clearly intended to help Trump's re-election effort and would have to begin in the next 2 weeks to have an impact by Nov. 3. Sooner would be better since voting is already underway.

That would be a separate issue from how safe and effective RLF-100 is but if they already know it is so it would not hurt to have Trump and his crew pushing it for political purposes. Even such political effort would help bring out the facts of the powerful role RLF-100 can play against COVID no matter what happens in the political world after that.
