Usually when a vote is taken by the company IT IS NOT THE NUMBER OF SHAREHOLDERS VOTING it is the NUMBER OF SHARES HELD BY EACH SHAREHOLDER THAT COUNT.

For instance, if I own 10 shares and you own 1 then I out number you 10 to 1. My vote would prevail. You can never hope to out vote the big share holders. They will win every time.

This is what I understand voting to be IMO of course.
