It was, (is?) the Royal Arkansas Hotel that was indebted with 600k ...NOT Becker personally. He overcharged the credit cards to pay the employee's payroll NOT his own. BIG difference??
Although Becker is a partner of the Hotel, it is the Hotel not Becker personally that owed back taxes, construction bills, payroll , which accumulated to over 600k
AND I have my stroooong doubt that Hayter and co. did not know about the Hotel's financial difficulties.
Remember the PR about selling the Hotel? just 4 weeks before they supposedly discovered the credit card fraud.
You really believe that Becker did not tell his 51% partner that they need to come up with 600k $ for unpaid bills???
