If I J-walk in a town that has no statute prohibiting J-walking, and I think that I have violated the Law; I have in fact J-walked, but I am not guilty of J-walking, regardless of what I think.

To quote an influential person, “It depends on what ‘Is’ is. “ What is newtrader’s definition of “Scam”? Her opinion of the Ticker is irrelevant unless based on actual insider in formation, as defined by Statute.

Stock trading is governed by Statute(s), not common law. If it ain't spelled out in the Statute, it aint illegal.

No place in the Statutes does it state that looking for existing Tickers that a trader thinks may be a scam and betting on those Tickers is illegal. The entire OTC, and Pinks would go out of existence on the “Scam” theory.
