I don't understand the attraction of Scottrade for trading pennies.
That extra charge for pennies is expensive, generally more than twice as much as lowtrades to make a trade. Lowtrades is a flat 4.95. Scottrade you trade $1000 worth and pay $12.
Wiring money and ACH transfer are two separate things. Wiring is near immediate and costs money. ACH is free and usually takes one to three days. You cannot have "wired...with ACH." This is like saying you flew in your car.
Anybody will give you immediate use if you wire cash. Not so for ACH.
