Strip Clubs re-opening in the State of Florida

Bars, Nightclubs, Banquet Halls, and All Other Businesses
to Re-Open in Broward County
Yesterday, Governor DeSantis issued Executive Order 20-244. The Order, that went into effect immediately, does the following:
Removes state-level restrictions on businesses, such as restaurants.
Provides that no COVID-19 emergency ordinance may prevent an individual from working or operating a business, giving Floridians and business owners needed certainty and the ability to provide for themselves and their families.
Suspends all outstanding fines and penalties, and the collection of such moving forward, applied against individuals related to COVID-19.
Provides that restaurants may not be limited by a COVID-19 emergency order by any local government to less than 50% of their indoor capacity. If a restaurant is limited to less than 100% of its indoor capacity, such COVID-19 emergency order must satisfy the following:
Quantify the economic impact of each limitation or requirements on those restaurants; and
Explain why each limitation or requirement is necessary for public health
Last night, following the issuance of the Governor's Order, the Broward County Administrator Issued Emergency Order 20-26.
Emergency Order 20-26 went into effect immediately and does the following:
Allows bars, pubs, nightclubs, adult entertainment establishments, banquet halls, breweries, cigar bars, and any other establishments licensed to sell food and/or alcohol to operate at no less than 50% capacity, and in accordance with County guidelines and restrictions in Attachment 2. Parties must still be limited to no more than six people, tables must be six feet apart, and hours of operation are limited.
Fines for individuals not wearing a face covering are suspended.
