It's my understanding that brokers have no control over that foreign exchange fee. If a fee is not showing up in your broker transaction log, consider yourself lucky. Possibly E Trade is making a billing mistake. Or maybe you get charged quarterly. I would clarify this by calling your broker though...so you don't get any surprises later. Particularly if you have had a string of buys (like I did) where I got hit with a string of $15 charges until the dust settled on my buy transactions.
