I would think that the large corporations that use big quantities of silver would have to consider doing it at some point. Companies like Apple certainly have the cash to buy whatever they want and to cover their future needs would seem to me to be a smart move. I suppose it comes down to them knowing they need to protect their supply chain. Is the Management that insightful?

Just like the Prepper's and physical PM buyers, the folks that are looking ahead in preparation for the train wreck we expect to happen at some point.

If Apple owned a producing silver mine I would expect them to be good for their silver usage for the long haul. That would take shortages or no availability off the table for them.
