Can you offer any insights into this?

I called TDA today and inquired regarding foreign tax for RLFTF a company based in Switzerland.

Unlike in the past when I asked about a Canadian stock (then they said the Canadian stock was just like buying Google. There was no foreign tax) TDA got more lawyerly and said I needed to consult a tax accountant.

I think this is a very strong indication there is a foreign tax to be paid. TDA was just unable to advise on that cost.

I'm still Looking for a link that is informative and brief.
