They are going to have to do a lot better than 19% efficiency for
solar to anywhere compete with natural gas and nuclear and fossil
fuels in general.
Meanwhile expect huge government subsidies for solar especially if
the green new deal is implemented which will more than double your
electric bill.

The efficiency of solar will eventually improve over time with new
solar panel tech. but that is quite a way off.

I love it when China announced they would be in compliance with their
carbon emissions by 2060. Apparently they did not receive the memo
from Greta Thunberg and AOC that the world would end in 7 to 12
years respectfully if something wasn't done right now about carbon
emissions.
On top of that China is one of the world's biggest polluters.
