I disagree. What I see as ludicrous is the idea that the TCPA bars a a client from suing his attorney for misconduct against him. My guess is that the attention is due to the precedent stetting nature of the case. As the trial judge noted: THE COURT: But I will tell you-all this. I cannot imagine the Legislature’s intent in the TCPA is to immunize, or whatever the word is, attorneys representing people for malpractice. I just don’t believe that’s the case. The SCOTX is about to tell us.
