Plug Power (NASDAQ:PLUG) announces an agreement to source 100% renewable energy supplies from Brookfield Renewable Partners (NYSE:BEP) to fully energize its planned green hydrogen production plant, one of the first industrial-scale facilities in North America.

The agreement advances Plug Power's green hydrogen generation strategy, including its goal for over 50% of its hydrogen supplies to be produced from renewable resources by 2024. The facility will produce approximately 10 tons of 100% green liquid hydrogen per day.

Plug Power is also partnering with Apex Clean Energy to develop green hydrogen network using wind power, accelerating the shift to clean energy and mutually promoting the advancement of green hydrogen in the U.S.
