Dave . Dr Javitt / press release raised some interesting pts

The submission is based on a case-control study that compared patients who were treated with RLF-100™ (n=21) to those receiving maximal standard of care treatment (n=30) in the same ICU by the same medical staff.

Data is all from the same ICU and same medical staff ....and involves 51 patients in all . So with that large of a population in same controlled setting I thinks really reduces the role of chance. IN sum ...RLF-100 works ...how well it actually works we won't know until we see double blinded data

2) Dr Javitt raised an important pt regarding low income minorities not having access to experimental drugs .
We see this playing out in SF where only 15% of the population is Latino BUT are 50% of the Covid cases. Many of these patients are seen at SF General ( Public hospital ) because they don't have good insurance coverage ... or are used to going there ( large Latino population around SF General ).

But at SF General its very unlikely they would have access to new experimental therapies . USCF on the other hand ...different neighborhood , insurance required etc ...and one of the best hospitals in the state of CA ...does have access to experimental therapies .

So Dr Javitt makes a valid case ...EUA would mean more low income minorities who are the most affected by Covid ...would gain access
