I see why you would say that as this price action is absurd and punishing- but I don't think shorting is the root problem. I would say it's not being shorted given the lack of convertibles. Entities that short OTCB prefer the guarantee a convertible provides. The lower the share price goes, the more shares they are owed to cover the short and the more they can short etc., etc. rinse repeat.

I don't find fault with people wanting to exit this stock but this vicious tanking is in my opinion largely a trader exodus. A loss of confidence in the CEO and three late reports resulting in an extended timeline for results led to a ton of towel tossing.
