Dont they already have the emergency approval. How else did chief Tommy and the other houston patients get AVIPTADIL. Their website has had the application for use when all other options have been exhausted and for ICUs. Wouldn't it make more sense to start using AVIPTADIL before the patients are on their deathbed. Take my dad for example in a veterans home under quarantine with 25 other vets. They have no ventilators to speak of. Basically they are under observation. I have not gotten a good answer what medication plan they have for them. Its impossible to speak to a doctor. If they get seriously Ill they can take them to the hospital which likely doesnt want them. My dad is DNR as are many of them. He is 89 heart valve replaced which he didnt need walked 2 miles the morning of his surgery hasnt been able to walk ever since, type 2 diabetes, large intestine and colon removed colonoscopy gone way wrong, supra cathed(20 yrs of testosterone shots). Basically my dad is a gd hypochondriac and has had a lot of unnecessary medical procedures which landed him in a nursing home. Covid has made prisoners of all nursing home patient it's just a matter of time before it spreads to all. In the case of nursing homes it would make more sense for the use of the inhalers early on when they first test positive instead of waiting plus nursing homes dont have ICU s and the hospitals dont want the nursing home c19, they going to die anyway. Anyone in a nursing better be a hearty individual if they hope to survive but they wouldnt be there if that were the case.
