Coal is going completely away in 2070. Poor countries like India and Indonesia can't afford solar and wind mills. In fact Germany and Poland can't afford solar and wind mills. Sorry. In the meantime, met coal is used to make steel, and there are clean options for thermal coal. Have a good day.

P.S to get copper out of the ground for EV's requires heavy mining equipment. Not so eco-friendly. Might as well invest in mining stocks.
