I agree.

I closed out all of my puts today, most at a profit, except SPY and AAPL, which I still hold. Both are dripping theta. I also lost on TZA puts.

I have many (I'm not as transparent as you in my exact position) SPY October 16th 320 puts and need to create a position against them for the drip drip scenario. I'm not crazy about shorting vol too, as that can blow up in your fast real fast.

I'm thinking of some iron butterflies for the SPY next Friday, and maybe some OTM shorts on the VXX dated also next Friday

My current outlook is still down (even if we test 358 again) until December, maybe even February and I am gradually moving over to individual issues rather than the SPY. I don't have your 'wavy arm' gift' I think tech has a long, long way down.
