LPI has issued 331,000,000_shares and is showing 221,000,000 floating hither & thither. The 37.5% bump Friday morning on ASX (but only 9% on Chi-X who didn't quite catch the last-minute "paint the tape at the_close" buyer) involved 1,000,000_shares (.3% of all the_shares) traded for the day and seemed to get traction late in the day when a new guy named Arcpro started posting on LPI-Hotcopper who then proceeded to coyly masturbate the board's members. For about AU$30,000-ish (max) some stock manipulator got everyone thinking LPI is busting out and rising in value.
Since no one knows for sure if Tesla is going to buy any miner in Chile (or Argentina) on September 22 and since the Pizarro clan is out of spite/contempt not going to make a SEA DIA decision on Codelco until 11:59PM on September 30, 2020... theennnnn I would venture to say that some opportunists associated with Arcpro simply came in for the day to momentarily jack the LPI_price up and see if they could unload some dead-weight_shares they have been holding for the last year.
The proof that LPI is going nowhere just requires you look at LTHHF and the fake pump at 9:30AM to artificially jack the PPS up by 43% using US$156 seed/funny money. That trick flopped immediately since American_traders are 3 to 4 times more smarter/perceptive than ozzies.
I think 38 of all 40 of the lithium stocks I follow are going to pop upwards on September 22 with LAC impressively leading the pack. Bearing and LPI won't budge an inch unless at least one of the following 4 changes happen:
1. Crystalballs gets fired.
2. The albatross-hanging-around-our-neck Codelco MOU is declared Void.
3. MSB_SpA reactivates the lawsuit against Codelco/State.
4. MSB_SpA hires Vivian Wu.
Other than that we are still in the shit soup up to our asses in this dreams-smashing fascist-run Chile.
