A Special Day
September 18

“Ascribe to the Lord the glory due to His name; Worship the Lord in holy array.”
-Psalm 29:2

Imagine you had seven dollars in your pocket, and a beggar came up and asked for money. You gave him six dollars, keeping only one dollar for yourself. Then the beggar grabbed the other dollar and ran off. How would you feel?

Now imagine that instead of dollars, we were talking about days. God has given us seven days in each week, but He asks us to take one day out of the week to rest, to reflect, to recover, and to worship Him. Don’t treat this day like every other day of the week. Sunday should be a joyful time, a privileged time. Set aside this special day to give honor and glory to the Almighty – who has given us everything!

For me working in the garden after Sunday mornings message is my what I guess would call it my super worship time.

So much of what you do out there reminds me of God's word.

From planting a seed to trimming plants to improving the soil it relates back to his word.

It amazes me how much a garden will bring out God's word to one.
