We had a frightening nightmare last night
In the nightmare we could with great difficulty recall our mum.
We could barely just recall our last temporary stepdad.
To recall our grandparents or any of our aunts, uncles was impossible
go ahead, try to recall one even now while you are awake, they are all a blur (and designed for you that way).
We live permanently in the orphanage.
We never get adopted and only occasionally get pushed into foster care for a year max... then back to the orphanage we go bruised bloodied.

Sigh, we'll be used again for a few days or maybe even for just one rainy day and then tossed aside in the gutter "used" like all the unsavory Uncles-for-a-night have done these past 10 years.
We've even lost track of how many Uncles have dirtied our bed sheets this past 3 years. The count for 10 years is impossible to tally.
September 22 is the next-to-last escape window for us.
If we are not adopted on September 22 then we are back to the orphanage doubly bruised/bloodied and labeled inoperable terminal cancer with uncontrollable hemorrhaging guaranteeing no foster parents will ever look upon our sad puppy-dog faces again with any decent measure of pity.
Then it is on to the last possible escape window on September 30 to see if SEA will deny Codelco's DIA and thereby revoke our death certificate at the hands of the fascists (aka the orphanage headmasters).
We awoke from the nightmare this morning and all of us from beaner to ozzie
realized we are and have always been only a scam for the never-ending parade of stepdads we luckily never kissed... Thank Heaven.
