sound needs 'minor' work on GNF channel as stated earlier, but it's the best, smoothest moving picture I've seen on the net yet..just as good as regular TV IMO, as it seems they've somehow conquered that chopped up distorted moving image/picture you usually see on "network" & "cable" web similecasts & the like?not a net geek by any means,so maybe I'm just a little behind here...has someone/company finally figured out how to get a nice clear moving picture like regular T.V. on the net ?..remember hearing Lucent[among others] was/has been working on getting a better, smoother T.V. like moving picture onto the net..surely it won't be much longer before we can watch regular T.V. on the net & not even need a conventional T.V.? at least for individual viewing I see no need for a T.V whatsoever in the future.Once they've figured out the "smooth" internet picture issue, surely you'll be able to rent a game & movie right from your computer as well... to eliminate mailing the game & movie back & forth would & will save oodles of money as you will simply download the game & movie for a price $6.99..$7.99 whatever. but like with music, the trick is figuring out how to do it w/o piracy & content theft..a movie & game "napster" of sorts? that is certainly the future & hope GNF is thinking ahead, outside the box here...
