John Bolton book controversy has Trump Administration seeking to strip all proceeds from the author and the publisher, Simon & Schuster. Two well known FnF parties are immersed in the thick of things. First, the case is being heard by Judge Royce Lamberth in the DC Circuit Court. Then there's Bolton's counsel, Charles Cooper, of Cooper & Kirk. Yes, the same guy that is litigating shareholder claims by FNMA and FMCC shareholders.

The Administration cannot be pleased with our lead counsel. This could be disruptive to any settlement or SPSPA concessions, IMO.
