During the Second Quarter 2020, BLU3 received a purchase order from a third-party to mature the design of the Nemo into a functional ventilator prototype, to potentially help with the ventilator shortage that the country was facing due to the COVID–19 pandemic. BLU3 Vent emerged as the first in the Hack-a-Vent challenge to pass through preliminary testing at Uniformed Services University to confirm feasibility to treat an ARDS inflicted patient. BLU3 Vent has been submitted initial documents for a review with the FDA at the direction and with the support of the Wright Brothers Institute (WBI) under an additional purchase order issued May 12, 2020. Revenue from this contract totaled $459,831 for the three months ending June 30, 2020.
